Electrical problem
1989 Ford Crown Victoria V8 180000 miles

I have a automatic headlight lever on my headligth switch. I noticed that the dashlights wouldnt come on a couple times. I also noticed that the automatic headlights werent coming on sometimes. I stopped using the automatic lights and just pull out the headlight knob when I want to turn on the headlights, but my dashlights wont come on at all and my tail lights wont come on either.

i DO have headlights, brake lights work, so do my turn signals. I DID check my fuses. They all are good.

I dont have a lot of cash and hopefully can repair it myself, so maybe someone might have a suggestion on whats wrong.

Your have to take out your headlight switch that you pull and see if there is a brown wire that is fryed. This is your problem.
