I Own A 89" Crown Vic It Was My Parents Car Till My Dad Passed and My Mom Could Not Drive So it Set for a Spell In Their Yard. I just got it and fixed a fuel pump problem and now I Do Not Have a Heater You Have to Drive 10 or 12 miles before any sign of just a little bit of heat comes out and of course No Defroster at all. I am Afraid it is the Heater Core Going Bad? Is this Right?

Check the thermostat-flush the heater core out and see what happens. If it has a heater control valve check that too.
