1984 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

This is a tough one. How do you change the serpentine belts on 1984 Crown Victoria? There is no spring type tensioner on this car. It appears it is hand adjustable. what are the necessary steps in adusting tensioner for removal and adjusting for proper tension.

I want to thank you for your quick response. It seems like 10 minutes since my question, you people provided a diagram. The 84 Crown Victoria tension pulley is reversed somewhat different than the diagram shown. The tension pulley is mounted so that it is impossible to loosen from a frontal attack because of other mountings.. The pivot bolt need only be loosen, from the front, but not removed. To loosen the tension pulley you will have to go under the car and you will find enough room to access the tension pulley bolt. Although simple, this is a two people job because of this.
