1994 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Any tricks to reinstalling serpentine belt? Alternator currently off and not reinstalled as yet (was rebuilt).

No real tricks, just be sure it is routed correctly or it wont fit

Thanks for the quick reply.

Should I install the alternator "loosely" first, so as to make it easier to stretch the belt over the pulley?

The alternator is at top dead centre ish.

Or if I install alternator fully, is there a trick to stretching belt onto pulley.

does it have an automatic tensioner? if so hold tensioner back to install belt.If not one of the other accessories will have to be loosened to install and adjust the belt
