1999 Ford Contour My car stalled

My car stalled this morning, when you turn the key it catches but does not completely start. What do you think this is? My husband said it may be the fuel pump, any thoughts?

Your husband could be right if he checks the fuel pressure with a fuel presure gauge to rule out the fuel pump key On engine Off-should read 45-60psi-if not it went south bound. You need your ride tell him to get it asap.
