First, here is what happened. Monday, I left my office and the car took a couple tries to start. Made it to the gas station to fill up and took about 10 mins to get started. Once I got home I have not been able to get it to start.

I replaced the coil pack and I do have a spark there. I am getting ready to check the spark plugs and wires, but they should be good as I just replaced them about 6 months ago.

Since I replaced the coil pack, it has been close to starting but just wont. I am thinking of replacing the fuel filter, but I heard on a radio show (goss' garage on 106.7 wjfk) that there was a mustang with a similar problem and he suggested replacing the ignition module that fords in that time frame have that type of problem

Is that possibly what the problem is I am having? Should I replace it? Or is it something with the fuel injection like a clogged filter? Any help or suggestions is very helpful.

I do have a second smaller problem, but not as pressing right now, any time I am running the car and turn to the right it sounds like the car turns into a nascar car as it gets louder, but to the left it is quiet. My neighbor had a similar problem with his escort and a mechanic put some oil in the shocks and struts casing and it quit making the noise, would that work in this case as well?

Listen to fuel pump, have buddy turn on key for 15second then turn off then back on 15 seconds, do this a few times u listen in the tank(take off gas cap ) has to be quiet surroundings, so u can hear any wineing coming from fill tube, if cant hear from there, get under car by gas tank should be able to hear winning. Fuel pump or relay maybe smack tank with mallot while he turns on key pump may start working
