how the starter key works, because the engine wont start

When U turn key to start position
that actuate the ignition switch
power travel throw the wires and throw the neutral safety switch and then starter solenoid
check fuses
CHECK FUSE BOX WIRING
check battery and terminals
check starter / solenoid
check neutral safety switch
