ok I have a ford contour with about 100,000 miles on it and its crap. My car in the pass 3 or 4 years has been in the shop 6 times. I got s full tune up last year and now right around the same time my car is having flashbacks from last years trauma. My dad recently fixed my brake lights and before he did so the car was working fine, now its very hesitant to start, I literally have to the pedal to the floor to accelerate, and its jumpy as if its going to break down. What could this all mean? Please hlep, im getting tired of spending money to fix this hassle of a car.
