OD light flashing is an indication of tranny trouble
check tranny fluids
should have the tranny module(TCM) checked for codes

Hello, Are you sure the trans is shifting to second gear or revving high and shifting to third from first?Does it shift to fourth gear?Overdrive light flashing is telling you that it experienced some type of problem and needs to be scanned for codes. These transmissions CD4E is what should be in your vehicle are bad for braking 2-4 bands and that is why I asked if your sure its shifting all gears or skipping gears.
