1989 Ford Contour V4 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 111000 miles

I have a 1989 Ford Contour. When started cold it chugs like it is not getting gas and will usually stall out. It will also stall out if sitting in idle at a light. I gave the car a tune up and oil change with an engine cleaner to get a starting point. Now I suspect that it may be the fuel filter or fuel pump, but I don't know. Any suggestions?

Check the fuel pressure to knock out the filter and pump.
