Rough start

I've been having a problem with my truck lately, a '96 ford bronco 5.8L, and I can't seem to figure it out. It has about 100,000 miles on it and has been taken care of really well. When I go out to start my truck in the morning it starts and runs really well. The problem comes when I turn it off and I go to start it again 5-10 minutes later. It will start but it is extremely rough and almost dies. If I give it a little gas it revves up and then runs fine. If I don't give it gas it chugs for about 5 seconds and then all of a sudden runs fine. It has no problems after that and I can continue to drive with no problems. I have replaced the fuel filter and I removed the air intake from the throttle body and cleaned inside of there. What else can it be? Fuel press regulator? Any help would be great!

Maybe (TPS) Trottle Position Sensor, or (IAC) Idle Air Control valve. Take to place like auto parts store, and check cumputer for any codes. Some do this for free.
Let me know if this helps.

Hello. Mine did the same thing a few months ago, then completely started to run rough unless going down the hwy, and still felt like I needed to push the gas more than before. Check the egr/vacuum lines. Pull the line off the top of the egr valve, how does it run? Better? Mine did and it is called a EGR check valve. Follow that hose off the top of the EGR it should be green it goes behind the motortowards the back firewall towards the drivers side. It connects to a little black canister looking thing. ( Like a prescription bottle. That is it. There were no codes for it. Check out my issues under 1996 bronco 5.8. It explains it better, and everything I went through
good luck
