I have an 81 Ford Bronco, 351m, 200k. I noticed a while back that my brake pedal was going soft and the truck wasn't stopping like it should, then the brake light came on. I pulled the cover off the fluid reservoir and noticed that the front (smaller) compartment was empty but the back was full. I also noticed that the booster had some fluid on it. I Assumed that I just had a small leak that I had let get so low it got air in the lines so I bled the back brakes and topped off the reservoir. The brakes have since worked better than ever but I don't know how to get the brake light to turn off. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

Follow the lines from the Master to the combination valve, it will have an electrical connection, and a pin on the front side, you will need to hold the pin in and bleed the front by opening a bleeder and pressing on the brake, no need to pump it, this will center the valve! This is assuming ALL air is bled, and the rear brakes actually work! That small reservoir is for the rear brakes! If the res ran emty, you must bleed both the res on the master, till the air is gone, then the rear wheel cyls!
