I have auto locking hubs, I was told that the hubs are not locking by a mechanic. He said that he could not find parts for this. He thinks there is a kit for auto locking hubs but I looked on the web for this and could not find them either. What are some of the options available? Is there such a thing a "automatic locking hub kit"available or do you need to go to manual hubs and is this an options to switch to manual locking hubs? If manual hubs is the only way to go what do I need to do parts wise to convert to manual?

The auto locking hubs they put on these fords don't work like they should at all. I should really know since I have one too :) I had the same problem and I switched mine to manual and now don't have a problem. Pretty simple really. Just buy some hubs, I got Superwinch I believe, not sure since I got them a while ago, but you can do some research if you want to find what's right for you. Easy install too. After you unscrew the cap on the stock ones just pull all the c-clips and pieces out and put the new stuff in, which should come with detailed instructions. Let us know how you fare. Good luck!

Thank you for your comment on converting to Manual Locking Hubs from Auto locking hubs
I'm unsure about what to purchase to convert to Manual locking hubs. The on line parts stores show Just the "Hub" and they show "manual locking hubs kits" - I'm not sure on what to purchase to complete the conversion? I thank you on any help on what to purchase for a 95 Ford Bronco 5.8L
