Yesterday I went to get an oil change. I put synthetic oil on it. It was running fine but then it started to slow down while I was pressing on the gas pedal. It sort of jolted after it slowed down and drove normal for a little while until it started to do the same thing again. I got out of the car and, while the car still on, noticed a hissing sound coming from underneath. I'm not sure what it could be, I checked but nothing seems unplugged. I would appreciate any insights on this. Thanks!

Have you checked the oil level?

Does it idle just fine in neutral or park, can you rev it up without it making any odd noises?

When in drive and you try and step on it, what does it do? When it is jolting do the rpms change or anything?
