1987 Ford Bronco cannot start car

When I turn the ignition the key goes all the way around but does not feel like its doing anything it does not make a sound like it wants to start what could be wrong with the ignition and how can it be fixed what do I need to look for

When you turn key to start position does it spring back to On position-if not replace the ignition switch. If so find the starter relay at I terminal power should be there when key is at Start position-do this and comeback.
