Hi. Recently I bought a new starter switch to replace what I thought was an old and beat up one. I asked for the replacement part at the auto parts store, and gave them all my vehicle information. I followed the directions included with my new part when installing it. Now I have nothing. When I open the door the dome light does not even turn on anymore, however, when jumping direct battery current to the post in which the starter wire is located, everything comes alive and the engine trys to turn over. This is probably a simple fix and just something I'm overlooking, but I'm to the point where I need to ask for help. I have two other wires, besides the main battery wire, the starter wire, and the ignition switch connected to the solenoid that were connected to the old solenoid. They are both labeled fusible links. The starter switch I bought has the "S" and "I" posts, as well as the two main posts. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
