My 1984 Bronco won't start. I ran it a couple weeks ago, and it ran fine. Now it will turn over, but won't start. I changed the fuel filter and spark plugs. I poured gas into the carb and it still won't start. Could it be the timing chain broke? What would cause this?

Check for power to the coil, the coil, distributor pick-up coil, and ignition control module and fuel pressure to nail the fuel pump-

Do this to verify an ignition problem-disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine and have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If not start checking above items-

Fuel problem-spray carb cleaner into the throttle body if fires up and dies out-start checking the fuel pressure-
