Hi,

Wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas. I have replaced the Thermostat and bolted on the connection. I have a small coolant leak coming from the bottom of the metal housing that connects the hose to the motor. Tried using a gasket. A gasket with silicone. And now just silicone. Still leaking. Driving me nuts.

Any suggestions please?

Thank you for your time.

use some contact cleaner and a plastic scraper. then use a straigtedge and feeler gauage to see if it is warped, if so replace if not make sure the bolt holes are not stripped out at the end causing them not to properly tighten.
