When I try to use the key fob in the ignition nothing happens, no start, no electrical

My fob will unlock the doors and lock them, but when I put it in the ignition nothing, no lights nothing.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a TIPM that has gone out which is common. You can find out for sure by scanning the CAN by watching this video.

If the TIPM is bad here are the instructions and diagrams to help you change it out. It will not need to be programmed because it self initializes. I also included the security system wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
