I was sitting in the car and didn't want to use gas, so I shut the engine off. I had my phone charging, Bluetooth connected with music playing from the car speakers. The car shut off about 30 minutes after I shut the engine off. The car will no longer start, and when you try to jump it, the car does not start. The dash lights would flicker, and the car sounded like it was trying to start, but only for a second at most before not starting, and the dash lights going back off completely.

Hello,

Suggest first testing the car battery. A bad battery, even when being jumped, can cause non start situations.

If the battery fails the load test, next charge the battery on a trickle charger for a day or so and then test it again. If it still fails, the load test next it would be advisable to replace the battery.

Hope this helps.
