I would like to replace the muffler and resonator on this vehicle but the original has been replaced with an 18" model. I have not been able to find a diagram for the location of these components. The Walker company shows a 25" muffler but if I read their diagram correctly this muffler will not fit where mine currently is located.

Good afternoon,

Let us start with your system.

Can you upload a picture for me of the system you have?

I don't have a hoist to photograph from the the whole underside of the vehicle, but the y pipe leads to the right side of the vehicle and to the 18" muffler ahead of the rear axle.

There is no resonator on the vehicle now so I presume the vehicle has had a modification from the original exhaust system. A factory diagram would help but they seem in short supply.

The only issue is that the manufacturers only list the 440 engine, not the 400.

The 400 had a resonator as well.
