I have an EVAP line under my hood that has gone bad, it cracked and someone pinched the line as well, my husband and I had taken it off one day prior to replace spark plugs and coil boots in my car. We saw that the EVAP line was damaged so we were careful about when we removed it and put it back on. When we were done. My engine has been acting like it's going to blow up since my co worker pinched the line, but I am not getting any codes on the inside of my car on the dash. So I am wondering can we just put a regular hose in to replace the EVAP line or does it require a special line or hose?
