What would be the normal charge to diagnose and replace the Purge Control Valve? And, since I just replaced this valve 10 months ago,(15035 miles) is this a normal life expectancy?
Thanks

Hello,

Replacement of the purge control valve can be done easily in a relatively short period of time. As shops have different labor rate it is difficult to estimate the cost.

That valve should not go bad that quickly. It is possible that the replacement valve has manufacturer defect and that it why it failed.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
