Hi Joe,
It looks like your first analysis was correct. I finally got the timing covers and associated parts out and found the bank 1 timing marks are off by one tooth. I was sure I had it correct when I replaced the water pump and timing components, but I guess I made a mistake. I'll let you know the results after I adjust the timing belt on bank 1 cam gear. Thanks again for the assistance.
