I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Base. I tried starting my vehicle this morning and it was idling very rough and then died. The dash panel said reduced engine power and I received a fault code P0068 MAP/MAF - Throttle Position Correlation and pending fault code P0101MAP/MAF - Throttle Position Correlation. I believe I may need to just clean my throttle body but I am not sure if I need to take any extra precautions or steps because the temperature where I am located has been frequently below zero.

No, I have not. I was going to clean the throttle body and MAF. My only question is do I need to be concerned about the cleaner freezing at all? I have CRC Throttle Body and MAF cleaner. I believe it would have to be -78 degrees for either of these cleaners to freeze. I was just wondering if I need to take any extra precautions or steps do to the cold weather in Nebraska. I don't have a garage so I would be doing it out in the open in the middle of the day. I also understand my car my throttle is drive by wire and I should have someone step on the accelerator without the car being on all the way to open the throttle plate.

As long as you have the MAF cleaner, it should be fine. It will evaporate before it freezes.

I also have a 2005 grand prix with the same issue, same display of reduced engine power, and same codes. I cleaned my maf sensor and nothing changed. Were you able to fix yours? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Did you also clean the throttle body? I cleaned the maf sensor and the throttle body which fixed the issue. I am going to start cleaning both once a year when I change my air filters.
