Hi,
This list will be long and I know I will leave things off. However, to try to sum it up in one sentence, the only thing that will remain is the body of the vehicle. Everything related to drive-train and suspension will need to change because you are not only losing the fuel injection portion but this will be required to be converted to a rear wheel drive vehicle.
This means the general list will look something like this when the engine changes:
1. Change to RWD transmission
2. Front suspension will change to fit the larger engine
3. Custom drive shaft
4. Rear end will change to a solid axle
5. Rear suspension will change to fit axle
6. Relocate fuel tank
7. Change ignition system including keyed ignition
8. Interior will have to change to adapt for rear wheel drive - possibly transmission tunnel
9. Center console will change to adapt for new shifter assembly
10. Interior electronics will need to change to make the speedometer functional or replace all gauges with aftermarket
I am sure I am missing somethings but this is a general list that you need to start planning for. Each one of these items will more than likely have it's own list. I found a couple blogs of people who have done this so it can be done. More than likely the easiest thing to do is buy a complete donor vehicle and transplant those items over to your focus. That way you know the things you are putting into the vehicle worked together at one time.
Its a big project. I would think about finding someone that has done it and reach out them to see the scope before jumping in.
I am sure some of the other experts will jump in if they can foresee something that I didn't mention.
