Hi, firstly help received on here been fantastic. Many thanks. Right on going prob. Management light still comes on and loosing power. Right done it all. Egr blanked of. Fly by so blanked pipe and connected power to egr. Changed she flow sensor switch that powers up inter cooler. Drive when not to hot outside all goes ok. If hot within ten mins light on no power. What baffles me and I sure the prob is pull over. Turn of. Wait few seconds switch on ignition but not engine. Light goes out and silence. After few minutes inter cooler starts to run. Leave running to cool engine. Ten min later start all good. Have noticed when engine running and cooler running car goes on and on no prob but it not cutting when should and so shuts down to stop overheating I assume. Changed switch that powers up and a sensor. I sure it the prob. Does all day. Then cooler on when running and no probs. Had off, cleaned pipes and casings as was watery, oily stuff in pipes which I guess is condensation etc. Is there something else that will cause intercooler to worked when feels like it. Also when leave car half hour, engine cooled down, turn ignition on but not start and fan cuts in a runs for ages til turn off power or start engine. So just want to sort as lost. Thanks whoever can help. Richard, Folkestone, Kent. In layby, hot on a Sunday waiting for fan to cool engine so can go for lunch wiv kids. Grr.

What are the trouble codes you are still getting?
If sensors and wiring are good, the next thing you need to look at would be the engine control module. Remove the covers and check carefully for leaking capacitors ( you should see signs of corrosion or oil on the circuit board near capacitor legs).

We don't have your model in our database so I am using the Montero diagram. It should be similar, Powertrain Control Module is the name refered to.
