Engine stalls at low RPMs?

Sometimes, whenever I'm idling, slowing down, or just at low rpm in general while driving, the RPMs will instantly drop to zero and the engine will just shut off. Multiple lights pop up onto the dash when this happens. When the car starts up again right away after cranking it, the "check engine soon" light comes on. If it takes a few seconds of cranking before the car starts again, the aforementioned light as well as the "slip" and "vdc off" light comes on. When all three light are on, the car accelerates a little slower, and it seems to cause some kind of delay between the throttle and the engine, similar to a CVT.

Yep, the most common cause for this problem is a dirty throttle bore or a vacuum leak. Here are two guides to help us see what the problem is, also can I ask if the check engine light is on while driving? If so, we should run the codes as well.
