Hi, antique car. Engine runs smooth. No burning oil no white smoke, no engine oil leaks. Completely flushed radiator, heater heating correctly upon operation. New water pump installed from AutoZone. New thermostat, but now I have removed it car doesn't have A/C, it has only three pulleys one for alternator, one for engine and one for water pump. Engine heating up and almost to red after 15 minutes of driving. Original radiator. Please help my baby car to survive. Thanks.

Just trying to make sure I understand the issue. You replaced the water pump and thermostat but removed the thermostat and the engine still starts to overheat?

Was it doing this prior to replacing these parts? What was the reason for replacing these parts?

If this was not doing this prior, it sounds like you have an air pocket. I would suggest buying a no spill funnel as shown below and then jacking up the corner that is closest to the radiator cap as it will help force the air to the highest point and allow it to escape.

This video is not on your vehicle but it shows how to fill the system using this funnel.
