Daugher has a 1997 Chevy Malibu. Replaced the battery and the altenator within last 3 weeks. A week ago my daughter said her car just died on her while driving. When my husband and I went to go start it ( several hours Later) it started fine. We drove it about 1 mile to the repair shop. Service Man had the car 2 days and said he started it up at least 4 times with no problems. Had him change the oil since it was time. My daughter picked up the car drove it about 1 mile and at the stop sign, the oil light went on. Proceeded through the stop sign and oil light went out. IT did it one more time while she drove about 1 more mile. Stopped the car at work and left it there 5 hours. Started it up and drove maybe 1/2 mile and car died. Started up and it drove 500 feet and died. Kept doing that till we got it to the station ( about 1/2 a mile ) finally it would hardly move once we got it started and it would just chug. Had to floor it with gas to get it to start and it would just chug, move about 100 feet and die. The check engine light, oil light, battery light all kept coming on. ANy ideas?/
