Welcome to 2CarPros.

A rattle can come from many different things. Is it possible for you to record the noise and upload it so I can hear it? Also, are there any changes in driveability? Is the check engine light staying on?

Do me a favor. Take a rubber mallet and tap on the exhaust system to see if that is where the noise is coming from. Often times heat shields will come loose and rattle or even the catalytic converters can come loose internally and rattle. Try that.

Here is a link that discusses engine noises. Read through it to see if anything discusses mirrors what you are experiencing.

Let me know if any of that helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

Welcome back:

If the light isn't on, that's good news. I will watch for your reply.

Take care,
