Engine noise

About two days ago I notice a loud noise only when the car was in idle. Now the noise gets louder as I accelerate. Can it be the A/C converter clutch bearing?

Good afternoon,

The first thing I would do is remove the serpentine or drive belt and then start the engine and see if it is still there.

If it is, it is an internal engine noise.

If it is not, then there is a bearing in one of the pulleys that is making the noise.
