Engine light on

I had to start the engine this morning. It was misfiring and it went off from that moment my engine light was not coming on when I turned the key to on position.

Has the engine had a tune up recently? We should run the codes to see what comes up. This guide can help, also it seems like you may have popped a fuse for the computer, or the bulb went out. It could be the alternator voltage regulator is out and pushed too high of voltage which would cause all kinds of problems. Let's check the fuses first. Here is a guide to help you and the fuse locations to help you with the testing:

Good morning,

The car can't even start, I tried to plug in a diagnostic machine it wasn't communicating with a machine.
