When trying to accelerate engine chugs and jerks

When I get to about forty mph and step on gas to accelerate quickly it starts to chug and jerk, then I have to take my foot off and push gently on pedal and accelerate slowly. It also happens around fifty and sixty mph.

It sounds like the engine needs a tune up. Here is a guide to help you get the job done:

Be sure to use OEM parts and clean the throttle bore as well.
