Voltage gauge in dash goes to nothing after a few minutes or a few miles, but turn key off and restart truck and it is back to reading half of normal until a few minutes or miles then nothing again. The battery seems to be charging. I am running lights and all, truck is still starting as if alternator is still working. Can you help?

Hello,

Please remove the cluster and unplug it. Then plug it back in again, this will fix a bad connection at the cluster causing the problem you describe.

If that doesn't help then the gauge probable bad and you will need a rebuilt cluster which you can find on Aammzon or Ebay.

Please let us know what happens, we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
