I just purchased the vehicle listed above, Titanium Edition, from the dealership a few days ago. I bought it knowing that it had a few issues with some of the fancier amenities found on the Titanium Edition. The power seat on the driver's side does not work at all, including the memory buttons. There are also a few other electrical features that don't seem to work, like the moonroof venting and retraction buttons, the dash light dimming button and the color palette selection button. I checked the fuses, and they all test good, and I have ordered a new switch box for the driver's seat because that's the most imperative fix. Any suggestions, thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi,

The power supply to the driver's power seat comes from fuse 9 located in the rear junction box. When you checked the fuse, did you also confirm there is power to and from it? If not, here is a link that explains how that is done:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

Next, at the seat switch, there will be a violet wire with a red tracer. That is the power wire. I need you to check if it has power to it. If it does, then either the switch is faulty, or the motors have failed. If there is no power, return the switch. We need to find where there is an open circuit in that wire.

I attached the wiring schematic below, so you have a reference.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Note: The schematic was one page. I had to cut it in half to make it readable for you. I did, however, overlap the two so you can follow from one to the next.

Hey Joe,

Checked both the fuse and the positive on the switch wiring. Fuses are good and have current. The wiring isn't reading anything.

Hi,

Okay, the power is available but doesn't make it to the switch. If you look at the pic I attached above, note the two different wires (colors) that are connected together (C311). C 311 is a connector. It is located under the driver's seat. See pic below.

I need you to locate that connector. Unplug the two wires and see if power is making it to the yellow wire with the red tracer. If it is, closely inspect the connector for damage, corrosion, or wire damage.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
