Will not start after replacing the Alternator?

Changed alternator in car it still won't start without jump none of the belts are spinning no power steering.

Hi,

When you say none of the belts are spinning, do you mean they are not moving at all? Are the alternator pulleys spinning or the power steering pump pulley spinning? If not, are the belts tight? Are they routed properly?
