Radio that I installed a few months ago that was working fine, and I went back to install a backup camera that ran to the radio and whenever I was attempting to install my lights on the interior flash 2 to 3 times and then a winding up noise behind the radio in the dash happened and then boom nothing works. The truck will not turn over will not crank lights won't cut on nothing. Please help.

Hi,

What wires were you working with when this happened? Also, just to confirm, nothing works, correct? Not even the horn, parking lights, or anything, correct?

If that is the case, I need you to go to the fuse box under the hood. Check fuses to see if there is any power to them. Here is a link you may find helpful:

Also, when you say a winding noise, where did it seem to come from? You indicated behind the dash, but was it on the driver's side or passenger side?

Let me know.
