Car listed above is an ltz model. It seems to get warm when driving it for 30 to 45 minutes it well kick down to reduce power mode says traction control service the codes are coming up bank 1, knock sensor. Now my electric power steering not working. Would not turn over last night. What do I check or replace? How do I fix this problem? It will not kick out until it cools off.

Good morning,

I attached the wiring diagram identifying the fuse for the steering. I circled the fuse for you.

There is an open recall for this from GM. I attached it for you. I would call the dealer service department and give them your VIN number. This may be a free repair under warranty.
