Answer above, "correlations" was supposed to be "corrugations".

Do the corrugations look like they are close together and they would stretch out to look like the original?

If they are close together and look like the would stretch on out.

My approach might be to drop two sacrificial bolts through the flange and then grab the bolts threads only, in a vise.

I would take a big crescent wrench and snug it up on the tube just below (and against) the nut on the other end of the tube.

If you could then pull it by the crescent wrench.

Maybe a slow pull, by cutting a block of wood to fit from the top of the vise and under the wrench might give you some "prying" leverage. If needed stack more goodies on to of the block of wood to continue the stretching process.

Just a thought, throwing some straws, I cannt see the actual problem from here!
