Replaced water pump and cranks but will not start. Replaced coil pack and still will not get spark to the coil. Thought of changing the crankshaft position sensor, but wanted to investigate possible ECM prior to investing much more money in this vehicle.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a crankshaft angle sensor that is out. Here is a guide that will give you an idea of what you are in for when doing the job:
