I purchased a 1995 Eagle Talon TSi yesterday. It was test driven yesterday and the thing ran fine- there was virtually nothing wrong I could find about the car. After I trailed it home- a 2 hour drive, I attempted to take it off the trailer, but it would not start. I let it sit for the night hoping that things would possibly clear up. I came out this morning to try to fire it up, it turned over, popped every so often but would not start. The temperature was about 45 degrees. We charged the battery up, that was not the case. Then we checked the spark plugs, everything sparked but there was a problem. The third and fourth cylinder spark plugs were wet with fuel. We turned the car over with no spark plugs in it, and fuel pumped out of the third and fourth cylinder. One and two, no fuel came out and those spark plugs were fine. The car is fuel injected, so the next thing we did was we replaced the aftermarket fuel injectors with the stock ones that the seller provided us with. We tried the same things and it still released gas from the third and fourth spark plug cylinders. Can you guys find to maybe what caused this? Is there something wrong with a sensor or a computer? Is there anyway to fix it because I am going to bring it to the local dealer to see if they can do anything about it. Please get back to me as fast as you can. It really sucks to buy a car that works one day and does not anoher- I have had it for 2 days now. Thank you very much. I would like to donate money, but I just blew 4 thousand dollars on this thing and I might need to save money to have it fixed. I am sixteen years old, and I do not start working for another two weeks.
