I was driving down the road yesterday. Turned off of gravel to blacktop got up to 55 mph when my F-150, 5.4L Triton, died. No warning lights, no out of normal gauges, etc. I immediately pulled over. Once on the side of the road and stopped I tried to restart - nothing.

Got pulled to a shed. The lights, electric locks/windows, radio, headlights, etc. Are working fine. When I turn the key to start there is nothing. Looked all fuses over and are OK, the battery is at 12.5V (no corrosion on terminals or connections). Thought it might be the alternator but with the battery ok everyone figured it wasn't that. Put a dynastic reader on under the dash got no reading.

Check fuse 101 and 102 and starter relay in central junction box. If all that ok then have an assistant try to start an dhit body of starter with hammer. If engine cranks over then it's the starter

Fuse 34 was blown. Cause by a cracked and corroded fuel pump drive module. Is running now.

About 4 day before this happened I started hearing more noise from the back. Now that this is fixed I'm not hearing that noise (it sounded as if there was a hole in back of the seat letting road noise in). Don't know if that has anything to do with this issue but it is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Even though you replaced the module check your fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. Also clean the throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner.
