Driver's side headlight keeps blowing

I have replaced it three times now. I have took the assembly out made sure there's no water. I'm at a loss as to what keeps burning out the headlights.

Hi,

First, make sure the connection where the light plugs in doesn't have any corrosion or evidence of excessive heat. If there is a poor connection, it will cause excessive heat to build up and cause problems.

Interestingly, unless the alternator is over charging, the battery will only produce 12v, so the idea that it's getting too much power is really unlikely. Most likely, it is a weak ground or something in the connector itself.

One other thought. Make sure when you install a new bulb that you don't touch the glass portion of the bulb. Oils from your skin will cause it to fail much sooner than it should.

I've put in the headlight now only the high beam works not the low beam.

Check to see if there is power to the red wire at the light. It should have 12v with the low beam on. See picture 1.
