Dragging and grinding noise when I back up

What can I do about my Montero Sport. When I back up I hear a loud dragging noise. It just started today. I also had a strainer replaced in my transmission, could that have any thing to do with the noise that it is making. I replaced the strainer because the "N" would flash, This only happened twice.

Unfortunately, noise concerns are very difficult to isolate over the Internet but for starters is there anything dragging underneath the vehicle? Have you recently had any service done? Do you have any dragging or grinding noise when driving (forward)? I'm looking for as much information as possible in attempt to help you.
