Basically we need to know if there is some type of cap, plunger, or regulator of some sort that is suppose to be attached to where the pen is pointing. Or does the circle with holes in it serve the purpose. We are in the process of replacing spark plugs and coils. Our mechanic removed the vacuum chamber to make enough room to work. If there is a missing part will it affect the performance. Where can we order the part if needed? Then any pointers in general you can tell us. Sincerely, Linda Cernickey

Part like that are usually "Dealer Items only" they supply parts for 10 years on your car legally, they may have one, if not your local wrecking yard should be able to help you.

Just to add to this one to replace the plugs all you do is remove the intake manifold. The engine has a plastic spring load blow off valve on the drivers side of the intake manifold is that what your talking about?
