Hi all.
My vehicle listed above (wagon) starts fine and idles smooth.
But whenever I try to rev it up, the needle gets to 2,500 RPM's and starts fluctuating. What could be the cause? I was told it could be the ETPS or the throttle pedal itself. Please I need answers because I'm going nuts.

Welcome to 2CarPros!

Do you experience this condition only while sitting still with the transmission in Park or Neutral or does it also occur while driving down the road? If it only occurs in Park/Neutral, it's likely a normal condition. The engine control module on most modern vehicles will limit engine speed while the transmission is in Neutral to prevent damage to the engine. If it also occurs while driving, I suggest you start by checking the vehicle for Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Take a look at the link below for more details on how to complete this.
