My Dodge van has recently been suffering from power loss, specifically on the highway after sustained 70 MPH speed for 30 minutes. All of the sudden, there is a loss of power, but the engine runs fine while in neutral. I recently changed the catalytic converter, but it just happened again. This never happens when driving around town, even if driving all day. Any suggestions?

Let's start with the basics.
Any check engine light?
When was the last tuneup?
How old is the fuel filter?
When you feel the power loss, what happens when you step down on the accellerator?

Firstly, thank you for answering ALL my questions. It may not seem important, but it saves a lot of dialog. I would change the fuel filter. It could be a cheap fix. I would pull the filter and before installing the new one, activate the fuel pump for a few seconds to blow out any sediment in the line. Then, hook everything up and give it a try. If that doesn't do it, get back to me and we'll go from there. It could be fuel pump, or pressure regulator. To check that, we'd have to do a pressure test.
