I have a 1979 Dodge 150 power wagon it is a 4 wheel drive and has a 318 engine the milage is high but I am not sure how high. I just replaced the rear main seal and the oil pan gasket and the oil filter. The truck just started spuing oil when I replace the brake booster vacume valve(the plastic and rubber). Do you know what could possibly be going wrong?

Check for a restriction in the pcv system. Make sure there is vacuum at the valve.

It is certainly a possibility. You still need to make sure the pcv system is working or it will keep creating oil leaks. The pcv system reduces pressure. If it is plugged it will create pressure and force leaks. The leaks may be a symptom of the real problem. The heavy oil leak of course needs to be taken care of.

I wouldn't discount the thought of the rear main still leaking as the shaft may be worn too much for the seal.
