dodge 1500

I have a Dodge 1500 2000 with 113000 miles with a 5.9 360 engine. engine light is on and speedometor does not engage til I reach about 55 mph. We changed the speed sensor located at the tranny but is still not working. whats up

I haven't looked to see what set up this one has ( so forgive me if I'm wrong), but if you take out the speedo cable and rotate it manually, does it affect the speedo?

on top of the rear differential there is another speed sensor that is causing your problem replace it and everything should work fine. Its not a big job....Good Luck!
